- Narrative: Assessment and analysis during the first phase of anemergency response are among the core mandates ofUNDAC. In 2017, UNDAC signed cooperation agreementswith two partners to strengthen infrastructuresupport and its assessment and analysis capacities inthe first phase of an emergency response. The agreementswere signed with Humanity & Inclusion (formerlyHandicap International) and the REACH initiative. AtlasLogistics, an international NGO and the logistics armof Humanity & Inclusion, will support UNDAC withlogistics expertise, operations set up and coordination,and field liaison with other logistics entities, such asthe Logistics Cluster. REACH, a consortium of threeentities (IMPACT Initiative, ACTED and UNOSAT), willadd its expertise in field needs assessments and needsanalysis methodology.
